Discover SCA

The Satellite Careers Academy is a place of second chances, strong relationships, and unwavering support. Designed for New Britain High School students who are in their third year or beyond and have fallen behind in credits, SCA offers a personalized path to graduation. We believe in the power of persistence, accountability, and the belief that every student—when supported, challenged, and encouraged—can find success. Our staff partners closely with families to build trust, restore momentum, and empower students to stay on track for graduation and beyond.

Building Relationships

We know that connection is the foundation of growth. That’s why SCA focuses on building strong, respectful relationships with every student. Our supportive school culture values trust, empathy, and open communication, helping students feel seen, heard, and motivated to achieve their goals.

A Path Back on Track

Falling behind doesn’t mean falling short. At SCA, students are given the opportunity to reset, refocus, and re-engage with their education. With flexible scheduling, tailored academic plans, and a focus on both graduation and postsecondary success, we help students find their way—and walk it with purpose.

Staff Commitment

At SCA, our staff are more than educators—they’re advocates, mentors, and partners in each student’s journey. With a deep understanding of the challenges our students face, our team works tirelessly to provide every opportunity for success. Through personalized support and high expectations, we help students build the skills and confidence needed to move forward.
